Neither one had ever been married before. Her mother Emily Rogers lived with them until she died. She was probably raised in and around Yonkers, Georgia. Was a Baptist. Her father was from around there--John Morgan.(Her parents were never married. Family tradition says her family opposed the marriage.) She was raised in a house owned by the Morgans. Husband got to Drinking and got into debt and Morgans tried to get the property back, but she fought them in court and kept it. ("Floyd Lam" is copied exactly as printed) This record was given me by my Grand Mother Lamb in March 1914 just before I left Ga and came back here to Arizona to live. Sam Hood. She said she was 15 years old when her and Grand Father Lamb got married and was 18 years old when my mother was borned in 1861. She also said Grand father Lamb 87 years old when died July 28 1906.
