>From N.C to Fayette County Ga.
Herod Thornton born Feb 13, 1778 in Johnston County N.C son
of John Thornton and Agnes Hill
Herods first wife-Zilpha Blackman daughter of Brazillia Blackman.
Herods second Wife Phereby Lee- McClenny Daughter of David
Lee "Short David" and Anna Eldridge of North Carolina.Pherebys
first husband was William McClenny.
Herod and Second wife Phereby (the union from which I descend)
came from N.C to Fayette County Ga. Evidence exsist that Phereby
was in Fayette County Ga for a short time with her first husband
before returning with Herod. I have plenty on this line on back and
on down and am just looking for others that also come from the
union of Herod and Phereby..... Note:This
Herod Thornton had an uncle also named Herod and this Herod also
had a wife named Phereby but they migrated to Oglethorpe County
Ga and are not to be confused as the ones of which I speak.
Regards,
Steven
